Embedding Tability in Confluence

You can embed Tability plans, objectives, and outcomes in Confluence by following the steps below.

Enabling public sharing

Embedding Tability views in external tools is only possible if public sharing is enabled for the corresponding plan.

Public sharing will allow anyone with the link to see the content of your plan, but you can add an additional password protection to restrict access.

How to enable public sharing:

  1. Go to your plan.
  2. Click on the "Share" action in the plan nav.
  3. Make sure that the option "Enable public sharing" is active like in the screenshot below.

Embedding your plan in Confluence

You can embed any of the following element in Confluence:

  • The plan
  • Any objective
  • Any outcome/key result
  1. Click on the items that you'd like to embed (if you're already in the plan, no need to do anything).
  2. Click on the "Share" action for the selected item.

  1. Go to the "Confluence" tab in the sharing modal

  1. Copy the Embed URL
  2. Now go to Confluence and open up the page where you want to embed your plan, objective or outcome.
  3. Type "/" and then search for the "iframe" component

  1. Fill in the following settings
    1. URL: paste the Tability Embed URL
    2. Width: 100%
    3. Height: we recommend 600px but you can adjust it as needed
    4. Frameborder: hider
    5. Scroll: auto

  1. Publish your page and voilĂ ! You now have your Tability data in Confluence.
